Ben was willing (eager?) to show us a wide variety of properties (even those he knew we wouldn’t buy), so that we could get a better feel for the types of homes that we might consider. Once we began to focus on specific areas and types of properties, Ben and Patty presented numerous high quality options and helped us weigh the pros and cons of each, leveraging their intimate knowledge of the greater Asheville area to help us narrow our search.

Based on previous experiences, Ben and Patty did a couple of things particularly well:

-Showed us properties in our desired price range, regardless of our pre-approved loan amount
-Identified deal breakers with properties before we saw them or shortly after arrival
-Learned both of our tastes and showed us properties that both of us were likely to enjoy
-Recommended other vendors of similar quality- we have not had anything but great experiences with any of the other vendors (lawyers, insurance agents, inspectors, local businesses, etc.) recommended to us by the Woolf team
